The boom arm is also used to create more freedom of action around the subject by hanging the lighting fixtures above and keeping them away from the frame.

This beauty has a 5/8" stud so you can easily slide the Baby Boom Pole Steel into a C-Stand when you need to free up your hands.

The Steel Baby Boom Pole can be extended to 84.6", so you can capture great audio from far away.
